Overview
The Dassault Falcon 2000 is a French Business jet and a member of Dassault Aviation's Falcon business jet line, and is a twin-engine, slightly smaller development of the Falcon 900 trijet, with transcontinental range. The original version was certified in 1994 with CFE (General Electric & AlliedSignal) CFE738-1-1B turbofans. Currently still in production, Dassault Aviation has built over 310 of this aircraft. Dassault has a number of industry partners in the Falcon 2000 program, foremost of these being Alenia, which is a 25% risk sharing partner. Alenia in turn has subcontracted some work to Dee Howard and Piaggio.
